Colorful Birthday!

Hello and Welcome!

Today's post is featuring a very colorful birthday card! I have to admit this was a little out of my comfort zone, but I did have fun with the colors and rainbow of balloons featured on today's card.  I had a very festive photo as inspiration from the wonderful team at The Card Concept, so I took that photo and tried to run with it.

Here is today's card...

A few close-ups of the detail on the sentiment strip are below.  When you don't have just the right kind of background paper, you improvise and make your own!

Here are a few deets on today's card...gotta be quick because today's the day of our little's dance recital! She and her tutu are ready!

1.) Card base measures 5" x 7".
2.) Balloons are a Sizzix die cut and stamp set.
3.) All stamping is done in Tuxedo Black ink.
4.) Each color of the rainbow side strip was (lovingly) cut and glued together in the matching paper of the die cut balloons.  Perhaps a separate post to show a step-by-step of that process?!?

Today's card was inspired by the following challenges:

SHE SHED! Don't forget to check out the final post on my NEW she shed! Everything is moved in and the space is officially ready for crafting! A few more decor details are still to come at a later date, but this girl has been creating and (hopefully) inspiring from my lovely little space!
