Card: Saying Goodbye to Beautiful Promenade

Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to today's post! Only a few more days until the all new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog goes live! I wanted to feature a few of the retiring products with today's card.  I am a little sad to see today's set go, but believe me when I tell you that the new products are amazing.  I can't wait to share all the new products with you, but until then...

And here is today's project...

Today's card features the Beautiful Promenade set with a mix of the Designer Series Paper from the Ornate Garden Suite.  The gold background paper adds to the elegance of this card.  When using such beautiful paper, it is easy to keep the card on the simple side.  The flower stamps and die-cuts are from the Beautiful Promenade and Beautiful Layers sets.  They come together in Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss for today's card.

Start with a card base of Mint Macaron sized to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Add a layer of Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper.  Using the stamparatus, stamp the layered flower stamps in Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss.  Crop the Mint Macaron flower using the Beautiful Layers die-cuts.  Using the Rectangle Stitched die-cuts, crop one panel in Mint Macaron and one panel in Whisper White.  Stamp the sentiment in Mint Macaron and snip using the Triple Banner Punch.  Position your pieces as shown.

Card: Magnificent Magnolia

Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to today's post! So I think it is a sign that one is in need of some crafting therapy when in record time you create a beautiful card.  With the help of my lovely little one offering her artistic advice, we created today's card which features a mixture of magnolias and lovely borders.

And here is today's project...

The Magnolia Lane DSP is the highlight for this card and it can really shine when paired with the beautiful borders of the Ornate Borders die-cuts.  And who can resist the chance to color the magnolia flowers?  I have been starting quite the collection of Stampin' Blends and I think they have become some of my favorite tools.  I find coloring my images so relaxing and it really adds just the perfect touch to know that the images have been hand-colored in addition to hand-stamped.

Don't forget to add that special touch to the inside of your card!

Card Details
Size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Paper: Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Magnolia Lane DSP
Stamps: Daisy Lane, Good Morning Magnolia
Ink: Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow
Tools: Ornate Borders die-cuts, Layering Circles die-cuts, Magnolia Memory die-cuts

Card: An Ornate Garden...literally!

Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to today's post! I am so excited to share today's card.  I finally enjoyed some quiet time in my she shed this weekend and I went all out!  Today's card features the lovely Ornate Garden suite and a special surprise...just wait...

And here is today's project...

The front of this 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card features a combination of the DSP and Ornate Borders die cuts from the Ornate Garden suite.  I have to admit that I wasn't quite sure about the Terracotta Tile coloring when I first saw it, but I have to admit that I have already made several cards with it and...I LOVE IT! I can see so many uses for this color especially once fall starts to approach (I know it's only May, but I live in Texas and with our summer heat sometimes I wish we could go from Spring to Fall!). Ok ready for the surprise?!?! Check it out...

My first pop-up card! The pop-up portion was inspired by Alejandra Gomez at Crafting with Allie.  You can check out the inspiration and her measurements HERE.  Instead of the Timeless Tulips stamp set, I decided to feature the always lovely Daisy punches and a variety of green leaves and grass for the background.  Here's hoping that this card makes any Mom feel like she's walking through a peaceful, daisy filled garden!

Card Details
Size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Paper: Terracotta Tile cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Old Olive cardstock, Ornate Garden DSP

Tools: Well Written die-cuts, Ornate Borders die-cuts, Layered Circles die-cuts, Banner Punch, Daisy Punch, Subtle 3D embossing folder, Beautiful Layers die-cuts
Accessories: Ornate Garden dual ribbon pack, Ornate Garden gems

I sure hope I got everything there! If you see something on the card that I missed and you want to know more, please leave a comment or send me an email!
