Case it Up Tuesday: Introducing the Ornate Garden Suite

Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to today's post...and Oh Happy Day! My happy mail arrived this past weekend from Stampin' Up! and I could not wait to get into all my new goodies.  I ordered the new Ornate Garden Suite and I could not be more impressed with these new products.

I have to admit that I decided to buy the whole suite based on one image from the suite marketing tools and I had to absolutely give that card a try first! I love how it turned out! I hope you do to.

And here is today's CASE'd project...

The main layout and colors of the card are CASE'd directly from Stampin' Up! But instead of using the "Thanks" stamp I used a combination of sentiments from the Well Said and Sunshine Sayings sets.  The terracotta tile ribbon is secured with a staple for an added twist.

Card Details
Size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Paper: Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Terracotta Tile, Petal Pink
Stamps: Ornate Style, Sunshine Sayings, Well Said
Ink: Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake

Card: Clean and Simple Flowers

Hello and Welcome!

Today's card was inspired the "clean and simple" concept. I was happy that it inspired not just a card, but a whole card set.  The card theme of "clean and simple" really lends itself to being able to snap out some cards pretty quickly, so it was great to put this little set together.  I could keep these simple beauties in my stash or package them up as a sweet gift to a friend.

And here is today's card...

And here is the set...

Step-by-step instructions
1.)  Start with a piece of Whisper White card stock cut to 3.5" x 4.87" as the card base.
2.)  Crop a piece of Kraft card stock using the 3rd and 4th largest die cuts in the Rectangle Stitched Die cut set as the frame.
3.)  Stamp the sentiment and the flower to the front of the card.
4.)  Add a self-adhesive embellishment to the middle of the flower.

I choose to highlight the following ink colors: Fresh Fig, Dapper Denim, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum with the embellishment offsetting the shades of the ink colors.  The flower stem is stamped in Garden Green.

A Simple Hello

Hello and Welcome!

Back to today with a post for a simple "Hello" card with beautiful fall colors.  I was inspired by two challenges today...

Tuesday Morning Sketches & The Paper Players

The Paper Players is a new challenge for me, so I am excited to share my work with that group.

Here are the inspiration samples...

And here is my card...

This was my first time stamping the paper for a design rather than using dies or designed paper.  It was fun creating my own design for the paper.

Supplies used: Victoria Gardens by Cassandra Cooper cardstock, Recollections cardstock, Sizzix oval framelets, Stampin' Up linen thread and Early Espresso ink

P.S....Don't forget to leave a comment for your favorite Christmas card here!
